В СУ „Никола Вапцаров“ – Петрич бе открита галерия от портрети на герои на Свободата, децата рисуваха слънца

Историческа галерия от портрети на герои на Илинденско- Преображенското въстание и борбите за освобождаване на всички български територии, останали под турска власт след освободителната 1878 година, бе открита днес в Средно училище „Никола Вапцаров“ в Петрич.

Галерията украсява стената до входа на училището.

Инициативата за създаването й е на преподавателя по изобразително изкуство Георги Марков и неговите ученици.

Заедно с преподавателя си децата се трудиха цял месец, за да пресъздадат портретите на Гоце Делчев, Даме Груев, Тодор Александров, Мануш Георгиев, Пере Тошев, Христо Татарчев, Пито Гули, Мара Бунина, Иван Михайлов.

От днес нататък всеки ден ученици и родители ще минават покрай потретите на героите и ще четат перифразирания стих на Иван Вазов „Българийо, за тебе те живяха…“.

Именно това е идеята на галерията – да не бъде забравен подвигът на героите, жертвали се за свободата на родния край. „Нека да запазим спомена за тези имена“, каза в поздравителното си слово директорът на училището Живко Тулевски.

Хорът на момичетата към училището изпълни популярната песен за славния юнак Пито Гули.

Присъстваха заместник кметът по хуманитарни дейности Илияна Попова, началникът на отдел в Общинска администрация Методи Бисерков, и директорът на Исторически музей – Петрич Сотир Иванов, ученици от горните класове.

Докато се провеждаше тържеството за откриването на галерията, ученици от началните класове и преподаватели нарисуваха в двора на училището стотици слънца по повод Международния ден на слънцето.
