Протестиращите заплашиха с блокада на АМ „Струма”, завеждат искове срещу УВЕКС – Сандански и ВиК – Петрич

 

Под надслов „Геноцид на една община над друга” днес се проведе мирен протест в горната махала на петричкото село Марикостиново, жителите на която вече десети ден са без питейна вода. Около 150 души се събраха пред една от четирите  пресъхнали селски чешми, които се захранват от водопровода на санданското село Петрово. До идния петък всеки ден в 17:00 часа хората ще се събират да протестират, и ако проблемът им не бъде решен, ще уведомят по надлежния ред държавните институции, и ще блокират автомагистрала „Струма”, преди гръцките земеделци да блокират границата. От протестния инициативен комитет предупредиха, че подготвят завеждането на граждански иск срещу УВЕКС – Сандански и ВиК – Петрич. Вече е сезиран омбудсмана на републиката Мая Манолова.

Заради пресъхналите чешми жителите на селото са принудени да разтопяват сняг, за да посрещнат елементарните си битови нужди.

По време на протеста на среща по този проблем в санданското село Враня бяха кметът на Петрич Димитър Бръчков, кметът на Сандански Кирил Котев, Кметът на Марикостиново Гергана Тодорова, и шефът на УВЕКС – Сандански.

Водопроводът на Марикостиново е построен от жителите на селото, си спомниха по старите хора. Този водопровод обслужва 7 петрички и 2 сандански села, които редовно страдат от безводие.
